342 Vehicles Netted During Orderly Sidewalk

A number of joint personnel have cracked down on 342 vehicles in North Jakarta during Months of Orderly Sidewalk that has been held since Tuesday (8/1). It is conducted, because of illegal parking on the sidewalk.

"We have controlled 342 vehicles today. Those are flattened as deterrent effect," disclosed Benhard Hutajulu, Head of North Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Monday (8/7).

Sub-district Taskforces Deployed to Support Orderly Sidewalk

According to Hutajulu, from 342 vehicles, 256 out of them are motorcycles, 6 units are bajajs and 8 units are cars. 

All of them are netted from six sub-districts at different locations. Among them are from Jalan Yos Sudarso, Jalan Pluit Village, Jalan Pademangan Raya, Jalan Mangga Dua Raya, Jalan Jembatan Tiga Raya, in front of Islamic Center, Jalan Cilincing Raya, Jalan Koja RSUD and so forth.

"Herein, we involve Transportation Sub-dept., Satpol PP, national army, police and other elements," he closed.
